PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make many stacked cups easily slidable and a single cup easily separable one by one from a stacked body of many cups. SOLUTION: A substantially arc-shaped and short strip-like blank 1 is rounded in its lengthwise direction, and both ends 1a of the rounded blank are bonded to each other at a bonding part 2 to form a hollow and truncated corn-shaped cup side cylinder 3. Many flaps 5 connected to the circumference of a small diameter of the cup side cylinder 3 are folded inwardly, and bottom paper 6 is bonded to the inwardly folded faces 5a of the flaps 5 to form a cup. In this case, a substantially circular notch 4 is formed in each valley 5A among the respective flaps 5 of the blank 1. By inwardly folding each flap 5 from a substantially central portion of each notch 4 to form the cup side cylinder 3, a notch circumferential part 3A of the side cylinder 3 is rounded in the circumferential direction of the side cylinder while making the circumferential part 3A foldable along a folded arc-like edge side 4A of each notch 4. By bonding the bottom paper 6 to each folded face 5a of the flap, the circumferentially rounded state of the notch circumferential part 3A of the side cylinder is secured. |
