PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a continuous solid-liquid separator which can make a whirling flow speedυC of feeded raw water large and can suppress a separation speedυL small, increase the separation speed and separation efficiency, and treat a large volume of the liquid with a low running cost without chemicals and without a mechanical means. SOLUTION: The solid-liquid separator is provided with a lower fluidizing section of narrow radius 11c having a means 2, 12 for introducing water to be treated containing precipitable materials and a means 5 for discharging the precipitable materials, and an upper separating section of wide radius 11a having means 4, 13 for guiding the treated water from which the precipitable material is separated. A porous flowstraightening vane 14 is provided at a horizontal cross section located at an upper end face of the lower fluidizing section of narrow radius 11c or above the upper end face thereof.
