PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing 3- aminopropylmonoorganodiorgfanooxysilane such as 3- aminopropylmonoalkyldialkoxysilane little in isomer content and having high- purify in high yield on an industrial scale by using easily available less-expensive catalyst and raw materials in a common synthetic facility by a process which can be completed in a short time by carrying out the reaction under specific conditions in a manufacturing method which has been avoided conventionally, that is, a monoorganodiorganooxysilane having an HSi-bond is added into a mixture of an allylamine and a catalyst. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing 3- aminopropylmonoorganodiorganooxysilane is carried out by adding a monoorganodiorganooxysilane having an HSi-bond represented by the following general formula (1): HSiR(OR')2 (1) (wherein, R and R' are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group; and they may be identical to or different from each other) into a mixture of an allylamine and a complex of platinum with vinylsiloxane free from chlorine, and they are made to react at a reaction temperature in a range of 40-100 deg.C.
