PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the hue of a color sample to be visually tested easily and accurately during printing and prevent the color sample after bookbinding from being seen through from the back and mixed with an outer color of a page. SOLUTION: This method for printing and bookbinding a color sample book comprises the steps to divide a sheet 1 of a specified standard into a plurality of printing compartments 10 by a specified number of transverse lines 11 and a specified number of longitudinal rows 12, print a color sample 101 of varying brightness and chroma per hue sequentially from each of the lines 11 to each of the rows 12 in each of the printing compartments 10, fold the sheet 1 in an accordion fashion along each of the rows 12 in a direction where the hue changes, cut the sheet 1a folded in the accordion fashion by line 11 into a plurality of line-folded units 1b, superpose the line-folded units 1b in the order in which the hue changes, make a temporarily bookbound unit 1c by solidifying the spine side 14 with the help of a spine solidifying means 15 in such a state that the title page side 13 of the line-folded units 1b superposed over each other remains as it is folded in a bag shape and boobind the temporarily bookbound unit 1c into a specified color sample book.
