The closure construction comprises first and second sealing components provided with first and second sealing surfaces and a closure component comprising at least one clamp unit with which force can be exerted on at least one sealing component, so that the sealing surfaces are clamped mediumly tightly against each other. The closure component is constructed from at least one clamp unit assembled together with a support contruction in the form of a ring. The closure construction can be of the bayonet type. The clamp unit (1) inner surfaces (2) can exert force on two flanges so that they are clamped against each other, thus forming a seal.
