PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer for veneer wherein a high control effect concerning an excellent deodorant effect and a stain of process environment can be developed, and those effects can be maintained for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A dryer 1 for veneer equipped with a drying room 7 for drying lumber; a shower device 11 for sprinkling water 10 to an air circulating in an exhaust duct 8 connected to the drying room 7; a storage tank 13 for storing sprinkled water 10; and a circulation pump 18 for feeding water in a middle stage part in the storage tank 13 separated, by a difference of a specific gravity, from water stored in the storage tank 13 to be extracted, is provided. Since in the storing tank 13 a resin component and the like of a small specific gravity to an upper stage part in the storage tank 13 and wood tar component and the like of a large specific gravity are respectively separated to a lower stage part in the storage tank 13 thereby in the storage tank 13, an excellent deodorant effect and the like are developed for a long period of time by reusing purified water in the middle stage part in the storage tank 13 wherein those resin component or wood tar component and the like are hardly contained as water for sprinkling.
