PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scallop cleaning machine which can remove blue mussels, oysters, seaweed, or the like, adherent to the scallops on a ship simultaneously with the capture of them and clean them completely so that they can be shipped. SOLUTION: In the scallop cleaning machine comprising a winder for a scallop rope, a rotary cylinder, a rotation driving device suing the engine of a fishing boat, and a cleaning water discharge pipe, a number of round holes 6.5 cm in diameter are bored in a drum of a hollow rotary cylinder, and a spiral plate having a low inlet and a high outlet is formed on the inner wall of the cylinder in the longitudinal direction of the drum, and spray holes are formed in the discharge pipe.
