PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-formed vegetable harvester which can easily match a position for pulling up head-formed vegetables, can constantly hold the carrying postures of the head-formed vegetables, and can prevent the interference of raking wheels with rhizome carriers. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left rhizome carriers 13L, 13R for carrying the head-formed vegetables are disposed behind a pair of right and left raking wheels 12L, 12R. The distance between the right and left raking wheels 12L, 12R can be reduced or increased, and the right and left raking wheels 12L, 12R are energized with a spring 39 in the approaching direction. The right rhizome carriers 13R is disposed at a fixed position, and the left rhizome carriers 13L is disposed in a state capable of approaching or separating from the right rhizome carriers 13R and elastically energized with springs 38 so as to approach in the right direction. The pipe case 89b of at least the raking wheel 12L is disposed on the backside of the rhizome carrier 13L. A contact piece 40 and a stopper 41 for preventing the mutual interference are disposed between the pipe case 89b and the raking frame 36L of the rhizome carrier 13L.
