PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component measuring apparatus which can surely measure prescribed components in body fluid in a short time. SOLUTION: This component measuring apparatus 1 mainly equipped with a main body 2, a finger touching part 3, a puncture means 4 housed in a housing 5, a pump 8, an electromagnetic valve, a pressure sensor, and a measuring means 7. A tip 13 is mounted on the housing 5 and a fingertip is pressed onto the finger touching part 3 to seal up the tip end of the tip 13. When an operation button 222 is pressed down, the puncture means 4 is actuated and a puncture needle equipped on the tip 13 punctures the fingertip and drive control of the pump 8 and the electromagnetic valve is started to switch the pressure in the housing 5 alternately to first pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure and second pressure higher than the first pressure. Blood is sucked out from the puncture site. When the blood collection is detected, the pump 8 is stopped and the electromagnetic valve is opened to release the decompressing condition. After that, prescribed components are measured by the measuring means 7, processed by a control means 11, and then the result is displayed on a display part 12.
