PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary merchandise display stand capable of fully coping with the diversification of merchandise and frequent remodeling by means of a small number of part items; eliminating the possibility of the stand becoming useless at each remodeling and hence the necessity of purchasing a new one; and reducing the space required for storage. SOLUTION: The auxiliary merchandise display stand comprises a rack panel 3 with a plurality of grooves 2 formed on one side in predetermined spaced and parallel relationship, and auxiliary stands 7 each formed of a plate 4 bent at a predetermined angle and provided with locking pieces 6 at both ends along a direction perpendicular to a corner 5 formed on the plate, the locking pieces 6 being detachably lockable into the grooves 2 of the rack panel 3. The rack panel 3 is installed on a merchandise display surface at a certain angle by use of a stand or the like, and the plurality of auxiliary stands 7 are locked in the grooves 2 of the rack panel 3 in various directions, whereby a variety of appearances convenient for the display of merchandise can be created on the rack panel 3 and merchandise can be displayed in various ways.
