PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance print performance and operability while reducing the size at a low cost by making possible to interrupt or resume print operation depending on the fact whether a battery capacity for printing one sheet is present or not. SOLUTION: Before starting print operation, a decision is made whether at least one sheet can be printed or not based on a detected battery capacity. When a decision is made that one sheet can not be printed due to deficiency of capacity, print record information indicating a printed frame number and its number of sheets are stored in a memory 90 for print record information and print operation is interrupted temporarily. When the battery is replaced by a new battery 8 or recharged subsequently, the print record information is read out and print operation is resumed based on the read out print record information from a not yet printed sheet corresponding to the interrupted frame number.
