METHOD FOR ASSAYING METHYL TRANSFERASE, PROBE AND KIT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new assay technique for fractionating and determining a methyl transferase concerned with a methyl conjugation in human, and a probe and a kit therefor. SOLUTION: The probe is a probe useful for assaying a methyl transferase and is composed of an oligonucleotide to be hybridized to a specific domain of a gene. The kit for assaying the methyl transferase in selected from a combination of the probe and a primer pair of a forward primer and a revere primer both composed of oligonucleotides to be hybridized to specific domains of the gene. The method for assaying the methyl transferase comprises using this assay kit.
