<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can notify each user that a frame, in which print control information is written, is not present on a recording medium, e.g. a memory card, by displaying the fact on a display means. SOLUTION: When DPOF print mode is set under a state where a memory card 9 is loaded, a CPU 81 of the printer makes a decision whether a frame, in which print control information is written along with image information, is present or not. When a decision is made that the print control information is not set in any frame, a display implying that fact, e.g. a display of 'non', is presented at a display section 2e by 7 element segment display method.</p> |
