PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment array for manufacturing shape steel by which wrinkles on the inside surface of a curved claw are reduced and the dimension and shape of a joint are stabilized. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the shape steel having joints 2 consisting of a curved claw 20 and a round claw 21 on both ends of the width of the web 1, by rolling (groove rolling) a rough shape billet having flanges 3 on both ends of the width of the web plural times with upper and lower grooved rolls, the rough shape billet is made into a secondary material forming the flanges into projected lines 20A and round head claws. After bending the projected lines of the secondary material approximately horizontally with upper and lower grooved rolls, the secondary material is made into a third material having the projected lines which are bent to the side of the round head claw by rolling (universal rolling) once with the upper and lower grooved rolls 5 and right and left vertical rolls 6. By rolling (groove rolling) the third material once with the upper and lower grooved rolls, the third material is made into a product forming the projected lines into the curved claws by furthermore bending the projected lines to the side of the round head claw. |
