PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive bumper guard allowing one to readily notice the collision of an automotive bumper against a building. SOLUTION: A mounting section 1 is mounted at a corner of the bumper 8 and provided with a retaining part 2. A rod-shaped element 3 is held upright and inserted into the retaining part 2. If a spherical abutting part 4 at the lower end of the rod-shaped element 3 collides against a building 11, as when the automobile turns left at an intersection, the rod-shaped element 3 swings largely. The swing of the rod-shaped element 3 turns a switch part 5 on to drive a reporting element 6. Thus, a driver can readily notice the collision of the abutting part 4 against the building 11 from the swing of the rod-shaped element 3 and the drive of the reporting element 6.
