PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating for soil-sticking inhibitors which may be previous applied onto temporary steel products which are pulled out and collected afterwards to prevent sticking of soils, a steel pile previously coated with the soil-sticking inhibitor and a process for inhibiting sticking of soils using the steel pile. SOLUTION: The coating for soil-sticking inhibitors essentially comprising a water- absorbing resin (a), a hydrophilic binder resin (b) and a solvent (c) is applied onto temporary steel products before construction. The application form of this coating allows (1) its easy application onto temporary steel product buried underground, (2) little separation from substrates when the temporary steel products are placed underground, (3) little deleterious effects such as pull-up of the surrounding ground by reducing the adhesion between the steel products and the surrounding ground, (4) little sticking the sols to temporary steel products after puling them out and (5) minimization of the amount of agents and soils required for post-treatment (back-filling) by minimizing the volume of the gap (substantially equal to the volume of the temporary steel product itself) left after the temporary steel products are pulled out.
