PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating system in which flocculating sedimentation can be excellently and efficiently executed even when raw water is of high turbidity. SOLUTION: The flocculating sedimentation system is characterized by that two steps of flocculating sedimentation devices each of which is provided with a flocculation tank for flocculating suspended materials in the raw water as flocs by adding a flocculating agent and particulate matter and a sedimentation tank for sedimenting flocs in the water to be treated from the flocculation tank to separate the flocs from treated water, are arranged in series.
