DARK YELLOW INK COMPOSITION AND INK SET CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which can realize a record image excellent in reproducibility of color and image. SOLUTION: This composition is a dark yellow ink composition which is used in a recording method wherein at least two yellow ink composition comprising a normal yellow ink composition and a dark yellow ink composition are used. The composition is characterized in that the absolute value of b*/a* of an L*a*b* color specification system calculated fro spectral properties of a solution diluted 1,000 times with water is 0.83 or higher and that the b* value is 0 or higher and is smaller than the b* value of the normal yellow ink composition calculated from the spectral properties of the solution diluted 1,000 times with water.
