PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material well-balanced in the characteristics of coloring sensitivity, heat resistance, spontaneous coloring properties, resistance to a plasticizer, a blooming phenomenon or others. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material utilizing the coloring reaction of an electron donating leuco dye with an acid developer developing the dye, the main constituent of the acid developer is a phenolic compound containing a sulfonyl group in a molecule, and a sensitizer contains an N-(4-tolyl)-amide phenylacetate being an amide compound. |
