PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seal member sealing between a slider and a main body housing from being damaged by high temperature metallic powder and the like scattering at cutting, by covering a front surface of the main body housing, in a reciprocating saw wherein the reciprocating slider is projected out from the front surface of the main body housing. SOLUTION: A main body cover 3 covering the main body housing 2 is extended to a front surface, thereby covering the front surface of the main body housing 2. A seal member 6 is shielded by a front surface cover 3a to prevent the damage thereof.
