The invention relates to a filter for filtering a stream of air. Said filter can be used in the filtering system of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle and filters a stream of air that is supplied to said passenger compartment. The filter is composed of the structural components (20, 21). The structural component (20) is a folded filter pack (2) that consists of a pleated filter material onto whose front faces, which extend transversely to the pleating, planar marginal elements (5, 6) are glued. The structural component (21) is a flexible plastic frame, the so-called flexible panel (10). The structural component (21) is placed on the structural component (20) and the two components are fixated with each other via an adhesive connection.
