摘要 PURPOSE: A driving control circuit of a large capacity power switching device(IGBT) is provided, which simplifies a configuration of the circuit by making an IC module of a control logic and has a reliability. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal input part(1) includes an optical combiner(PC1) to supply a gate pulse being output from a control circuit(MCU). A gate pulse transmission part(2) includes not gates(2a,2b,2c) to transmit a gate pulse signal applied through the optical combiner, and an AND gate(2d) receiving a gate pulse output of the not gate(2c) and a fault signal of a control IC(5). An amplifier part(3) includes transistors(Q1,Q2) driving an IGBT with on/off switching by supplying the gate pulse of the gate pulse transmission part to a gate(G) of the IGBT, and a resistor(R9) for an equal potential path between an emitter and the gate of the IGBT. A voltage detection part(4) detects a voltage of a collector of the IGBT and supplies the voltage to a desaturation voltage port(DESATA) of the control IC, and the control IC controls the operation of the IGBT by outputting a fault signal. An optical signal transmission part(6) includes an optical combiner(PC2) to output the fault signal from the control IC to the control circuit. And the circuit includes a counter part and an operation display part and a fault display part.
