A business method is described for providing an integrated product and an integrated business offer to customers and third party developers over an established integrated business portal in a WAP-Bluetooth environment. The business method includes providing an WAP-Bluetooth SDK to qualified third parties using the business portal. The SDK includes a WAP-Bluetooth development environment, WAP-Bluetooth software modules, WAP-Bluetooth application examples a bootloader, a software platform including a Bluetooth stack and an operating system and driver, a basic WAP-Bluetooth application, and documentation any or all of which may be open source. The SDK includes a graphcial user interface development tool for Windows® and UNIX. Integrated WAP-Bluctooth products developed by qualified third parties are registered in a product registry such that they are available to customers and third party developers. Hardware orders from customers for WAP-Bluetooth hardware products are processed and payment received through the portal. Orders are fulfilled from a central location associated with the integrated business portal. Software orders from customers for integrated WAP-Bluetooth products are processed, payment received, and orders fulfilled through the portn. Integrated products are presented to and provided on a trial basis to the customers using the portal. WAP-Bluetooth hardware products include a WAP-Bluetooth server, a WAP-Bluetooth mobile terminal, and a mobile WAP-Bluetooth server each of which includes at least one Bluetooth interface. |
