摘要 PURPOSE: A reactor alloy of syndiotactic polystyrene is provided, to improve the degree of dispersion to melt blend, the stiffness at interface and the impact resistance without deterioration of the elastic modulus and the flame retardancy. CONSTITUTION: The reactor alloy is obtained by reacting an aromatic vinyl monomer with a rubber-phase elastic body in the presence of a transition metal catalyst and an accelerator, and comprises 50-99 wt% of syndiotactic polystyrene; 1-50 wt% of a rubber-phase elastic body; and optionally 0.1-10 wt% of polyphenylene ether. Preferably the aromatic vinyl monomer is represented by the formula A or B, wherein J1 is H, a halogen atom, or a substituent containing at least one C, O, Si, P. S, Se or Sn; J2 is a hydrocarbon group of C2-C10 containing at least one unsaturated bond; m is an integer of 1-3; and n is 1 or 2. The compound of the formula A can have independent substituents when m is equal to or greater than 2, and the compound of the formula B can have independent substituents when m is equal to or greater than 2 and n is 2.
