Disclosed is a light detection unit (1) for a confocal microscope, a method for detecting luminescence light (2) in a confocal microscope, and a confocal microscope. The luminescence light (2) emitted from a measuring object is confocally guided onto a dispersive element (3) through which the luminescence light (2) is dispersed into a spectrum (4). According to the invention, selective ranges within said spectrum (4) are respectively detected by several independently working detector elements (5) which are arranged alongside the spectral distribution. The output signals of the individual detector elements (5) are read out in parallel and are evaluated in a particularly time-correlated manner. Any particular detector elements (5) can be combined in a detection channel, using controlling software. |
