The essence of the present invention is the use of a high frequency electronic pumping of a thermoelectric material for the generation of electric energy. This applies to a variety of materials and devices including quantum well structures and vacuum diodes. Although the above specifications contain many specificities, these should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention but as merely providing illustrations of some of the presently preferred embodiments of this invention. Thus the scope of the invention should be determined by appended claims and their legal equivalents as well as the examples given. |
