SAFETY DEVICE FOR FLUID TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A safety device for fluid transmission is provided to protect an energy converter and to use monitor the quantity of flow in transmitting fluid. CONSTITUTION: A safety device(1) for a fluid transmission has a diaphragm(4) which is arranged in a feed passage(8) to be deflected and which has at least one through opening(2) for the fluid. A return passage(10) for the fluid from the chamber of the consumer(9) has such a configuration and arrangement that the return passage can be opened and closed by deflection of the diaphragm. The diaphragm is constituted so that the return passage is opened when the fluid flow in the feed passage falls below a given value,. The pressure in a pressure chamber of a consumer can be let off by the safety device when a pump(7) is no longer conveying. Therefore, the safety device can be used with trust within the wide range of temperature.
