PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to perform pleasant heating by reducing noise and the amount of air contacting with a resident by simultaneously performing convection heating and radiation heating, to keep the heating efficiency even when the outdoor temperature is low, and to secure reliability by preventing wet compression of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a basic refrigerant circuit(1) composed by sequentially connecting a compressor(2), a four-way valve(3), an indoor heat exchanger(4), expansion valves(5,6), an outdoor heat exchanger(7), the four-way valve, and conduits(8a-8d), a hot water heating circuit(10) installed in the conduit(8a), a heating heat exchanger(12) installed in the conduit(8c), and a heat storage tank(11) embedding a heat absorbing heat exchanger(13) installed in a heat absorbing conduit(9) and a second heating heat exchanger(14) connected to the hot water heating circuit. In the heating operation, the high temperature high pressure refrigerant gas compressed in the compressor flows through a bypass pipe(101) while heating the water flowing through the hot water heat exchanger. The heated water emits radiant heat while circulating through a radiant heat generating unit(104). Therefore, a room is heated by convection and radiation heating. |
