PURPOSE: A method for providing a local advertisement and the contents using position information is provided to offer the local advertisement according to the verified position information of a moving object by using a GPS(Global Positioning System) and a mobile telecommunication. CONSTITUTION: The method for providing a local advertisement and the contents comprises a moving object(11) accepting an advertisement to be provided, a satellite(12) providing a position information in order to make the moving object check the position by using GPS, a repeater(13) performing a communication with the moving object, and a center server(14) receiving the position information from the moving object via the repeater and providing a corresponding advertisement information. The moving object receives the corresponding advertisement information from the repeater and performs the advertisement through an advertisement window in or out of the moving object.
