METHOD FOR CONCENTRATING HOT SPRING WATER

PURPOSE: A method for concentrating hot spring water is provided in which a user enjoys oneself by taking a hot spring bath and safely uses the recovered permeated water generated after concentration as drinking water by diluting concentrated water with hot water at home, thereby using the diluted water as a hot spring water. CONSTITUTION: The method for concentrating hot spring water comprises the steps of cooling a hot spring raw water having a high temperature to about 30 deg.C; removing fine particle materials by pretreating the cooled hot spring raw water using a filter having a pore size of 5 to 15 microns; and recovering concentrated water and permeated water in which dissolved materials are contained by pressing thus concentrating the pretreated hot spring raw water by multiple steps of a reverse osmosis membrane method, wherein the pressing of the hot spring raw water is performed under the atmospheric pressures of 10 to 60, and a nonporous membrane having a pore size of 0.0001 to 0.001 micron is used as the reverse osmosis membrane.
