METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EVALUATING ON-LINE EDUCATION EQUIPPED WITH TEACHING MATERIAL WRITING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and system for evaluating on-line education equipped with a teaching material writing system is provided to increase the effectiveness of education by enabling a teaching material maker and a person who prepares examination questions to make a teaching material and an evaluation materials with a minimum of time and efforts and to distribute the materials to learners through the Internet, and by checking results of learning on line. CONSTITUTION: A teaching material management system(200) manages teaching materials or evaluation materials. An education management server(210) manages a database server(211) capable of storing the teaching or the evaluation materials and a web server(230) which is a user interface on the Internet. The database server(211) stores and classifies the teaching or the evaluation materials. In addition, the database server(211) stores and searches the teaching or the evaluation materials according to a request of the education management server(210). A file server(212) stores and manages texts, images and voices of integrated files. A TTS(Toll Transit Switch) server(213) converts text files among multimedia data inputted into voices and transmits the files to a teaching material making system(100). A VOD(Video On Demand) server(214) receives all sorts of multimedia data through the education management server(210). An OCR(Optical Character Recognition) engine(215) receives text image data files converted from the system(100) through the management server(210). A user interface component(220) transmits teaching or evaluation materials requested by learners to terminals of the learners. A web server(230) interfaces the management system(200) through the user interface component(220). A searching engine(240) searches teaching or evaluation materials managed by the database server(211).
