The present invention provides homopolymers and copolymers containing aryldiazosulfonate units having a maximum spectral sensitivity of at or above 320nm. According to the present invention their is provided a convenient method for preparing said homopolymers or copolymers. The thus prepared polymers are especially suitable in the production of printing plates. The invention thus also provides an imaging element comprising polymers containing aryldiazosulfonate units and a method for producing a lithographic printing plate therewith. |
