PURPOSE: A selective paper-feeding driver is provided to select one of a cassette paper feeder and a manual paper feeder depending on the rotational direction of a stepping motor without additionally using an electronic clutch and an one-way bearing by using a small stepping motor. CONSTITUTION: A selective paper-feeding driver consists of a power transfer unit(310) including a stepping motor(40) rotating forward/reversely, a pinion(41) fixed on the shaft of the stepping motor, intermediate gears(42,43,45) supplying power by converting the rotational force of the pinion clockwise or counterclockwise, and first and second driven gears(46,44) receiving power of the intermediate gears(45,43) respectively; and first and second paper feeders(320,330) feeding paper by selectively receiving the rotational force via the first and second driven gears of the power transfer unit. One of the paper feeders is used as a cassette paper feeder while the other is as a manual paper feeder. The selective paper-feeding driver uses the independent small stepping motor to reduce the capacitance of a main motor.
