PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having an error prevention function in charging is provided to prevent the reduction of a pixel charging rate caused by the delay of gate-on voltage in an LCD. CONSTITUTION: An LCD having an error prevention function in charging consists of a timing control unit(100), a delayer(200), a gate driving voltage generator(300), a gray scale voltage generator(400), a data driver(500), a gate driver(600) and an LCD panel(700). The timing control unit outputs digital signals for driving the data driver and the gate driver with RGB(Red,Green,Blue) data, vertical/horizontal synchronizing signals(Vsync,Hsync), high level signals(DE) and main clock signals(MCLK). The delayer delays a first load signal(TP) to saturate gate-on voltage and then outputs a second load signal(TP') to the data driver to charge the data on the LCD panel. The gate driving voltage generator outputs gate-on voltage(Von), gate-off voltage(Voff) and common voltage(Vcom) to the gate driver. The gray scale voltage generator outputs gray scale voltage to the data driver. The data driver outputs data voltage to the LCD panel according to the second load signal. The gate driver outputs each pixel voltage on the LCD panel to pixels.
