PURPOSE: To provide a heat accumulation body for a regenerative burner which is so constituted as to provide temperature distribution wherein break due to internal temperature distribution of the heat accumulation body is prevented from occurring. CONSTITUTION: A honeycomb-form heat accumulation body 1 is formed in a shape wherein three honeycomb constituting bodies 1a, 1b, and 1c formed of ceramics are laminated in the direction of a flow passage for combustion air. A number of fine tubes 3a, 3b, and 3c are formed at each of the honeycomb structures 1a, 1b, and 1c, a gap is provided between the honeycomb bodies with a spacer therebetween. Based on the flow passage section area of the fine tube 3a of the structure 1a, the flow passage section areas of the fine tubes 3b and 3c are orderly decreased, and the heat accumulation effect and the heat recovery efficiency of a heating furnace are improved. |
