LITHIUM PRIMARY BATTERY WITH IMPROVED DISCHARGING PROPERTY AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A lithium primary battery and its preparation method are provided, to increase the power density and the discharging time by employing a metal-SIBP complex acting as a catalyst for the reduction of SOCl2. CONSTITUTION: The lithium primary battery comprises metal-salicylidene imino biphenyl (metal-SIBP) complex represented by the formula as a catalyst, wherein M is a metal. Preferably the metal-SIBP complex is Fe-SIBP complex of Co-SIBP complex. The metal-SIBP complex is prepared by reacting 3,3'-diamino benzidine and salicylaldehyde with refluxing to SIBP; and reacting the obtained SIBP with metal oxide.
