<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-proof high-resolution photointerrupter which is easily manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 15 and a light-receiving element 16 facing each other are provided with a path 11 for an object to be detected in between, with a case 12 of a transmissive material covering the light-emitting element and the light-receiving element. At least a cap-like slit bracket 13 is housed inside a case protruding part 12b on the light-receiving element side, so that a slit is provided in the region across an optical path.</p> |
