PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical disk recording/reproducing device capable of recording a signal on the disk by a laser emitted from an optical head. SOLUTION: Laser output values suitable for each band are obtained by recording/reproducing the signal with respect to trial writing areas arranged on each band, which are the recording areas of the signal, and also the laser output values set for every band are stored in a memory 14 for data storage, and when a signal to instruct the recording for specified time is not outputted from a host device, the resetting operation of the laser output value is carried out at the trial writing area of the using band whereon the optical head 2 is positioned. |
