PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform the automatic adjustment of a dielectric filter in a short time while unnecessitating an adjustment experience, skill or sensitive knowledge for real adjustment and decreasing adjustment based on trial and error. SOLUTION: The reflection loss characteristics of the dielectric filter provided with the resonators of plural stages are measured, a singularity frequency in the reflection loss characteristics and the balance of the heights of peaks are found and on the basis of the singularity frequency and the balance of the peaks, while referring to a previously constructed database, a part to be adjusted and an adjustment quantity are found.
