PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPP(point-to-point protocol) connection system that provides a service means to users by which users, who understand the PPP connection method and the access method to WWW servers due to the dissemination of the Internet but do not understand the network configuration and settings of modems and routers, can readily make PPP connection to other network. SOLUTION: The Internet is provided with a WEB server 2, user terminals 1 connected to the WEB server 2 and a modem 3 connected to the WEB server 2. Thus, each user terminal 1 in the Internet uses a public network via the WEB server 2 and the modem 3 to make PPP connection to a RAS(remote access service) 4 in other network such as an intra-net.
