PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method adopting a transmission system that transmits word sequence data where digital video signals are multiplexed and word synchronous data are added to the multiplexed signals as serial data and by which the serial data are transmitted to a receiver side that can surely reproduce the received data. SOLUTION: P/S conversion is applied to each of digital video signals, synchronous data are inserted to serial data obtained by the converted video signals at a prescribed bit interval to form composite serial data, and composite word sequence data are generated, to which an attached word data group including word synchronous data assigned with a predetermined code obtained by multiplexing the synchronous data on the basis of the digital video signals and by multiplexing the composite serial data respectively depending on the digital video signals is inserted at a prescribed word interval, the composite word sequence data are converted into transmission serial data, and the converted data are transmitted. |
