PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a common mode choke coil which is provided with measures for leakage of magnetic flux to eliminate a bad influence on an external apparatus. SOLUTION: Coils 291 and 292 are wound around the inner circumference of a toroidal type magnetic core 22 with a partitioning plate 27 in-between so that magnetic fluxes produced by the respective coils may compensate with each other to a normal mode current. A band-like magnetic shield plate 24 is adhered to a U-shaped insulation protection plate 23 having a sidewall 25 along the direction of leakage magnetic flux leaking to the space from the coil, and it is fixed onto a base 21 by means of claws 26 which are provided attachably/detachably on its both ends.
