RADIO PACKET TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio packet transmission method capable of improving communication quality and a frequency utilization rate and dissolving a hidden terminal problem in the case of adopting the protocol of a carrier sense type by utilizing a sector antenna. SOLUTION: The communication protocol of the carrier sense type is utilized. Before a radio base station transmits radio packet signals, carrier sensing is performed for both of a first antenna sector directional to the direction of the radio terminal of a transmission destination, and a second antenna sector directional to the direction opposite to the direction of the radio terminal of the transmission destination. Only in the case of not detecting signals transmitted from the other station in both, an idle state is recognized. In the case of recognizing the idle state, both of the first antenna sector and the second antenna sector are simultaneously used and the radio packet signals to the radio terminal are transmitted.
