PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone device capable of calling a salve unit near the place desired by a caller, and announcing the place of a calling device. SOLUTION: Each slave unit is able to detect identification information set in a battery charger by a detecting means, and to store the identification information by a storing means. That slave unit is able to respond to a call from a calling device when the destination of the call is its own unit or the call is based on the identification information. When calling, the slave unit is able to transmit the stored identification, and the call incoming device which receives the call is able to announce the battery charger information corresponding to the identification information.
