PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary solenoid drive transmission mechanism which can be kept high in accurate operating performance by preventing a transmission member from bounding when its rotation is controlled by a control stopper member. SOLUTION: A rotary solenoid drive transmission mechanism is equipped with a rotary solenoid 102, a transmission member 103 driven and rotated by the rotary solenoid 102, a brake member 107 pressed against the transmission member 103, and control stopper members 110 and 111 which control the movement of the brake member 107. The control stopper members 110 and 111 are made to bear against the brake member 107 to control its movement when the transmission member 103 is driven and rotated by the rotary solenoid 102, by which rotation resistance is induced in the transmission member 103 by its frictional force with the brake member 107.
