PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video information reproducing device that can start reproduction in an excellent way without a wait time at all times in a service of a near video on demand. SOLUTION: The video information reproducing device distributing the same program through channels at a prescribed time difference is provided with a recording means that records head part data (a-c) of the program by a prescribed time difference in advance, a control means 5 that writes data (c-b) to a memory means 14 in succession to the head part data (a-c) while reproducing the head part data (a-c) and reads and outputs succeeding data from the memory means 14 in succession to the head part data (a-c) as its control, and a time information extract means 40 that extracts time information in the program. When the program is revised, the data recorded in the recording means 15 or 14 are re-recorded to the head part data of the revised program on the basis of the time information obtained by the time information extract means 40.
