PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a still video camera that automatically displays a photographed image in succession to its photographing and outputs information in cross-reference with a signal of the photographed image to relieve the operation load of a photographer and to enhance the user-friendliness. SOLUTION: The still video camera is provided with an image pickup means that photographs an object, a recording means that records photographed image information, and an image output means that displays the photographed image on a monitor. The recording means records the image information on the basis of a prescribed trigger signal, and the image output means displays the photographed image on the monitor and outputs the information such as voice in cross-reference with the image information.
