PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with voice dial function that can sufficiently utilize its voice dial function without the need for troublesome operations. SOLUTION: The telephone set with voice dial function is provided with a telephone directory data storage means that stores telephone directory data, a voice recognition data storage means that stores voice recognition data to read the telephone directory data by a voice recognized by the voice recognition means in cross-reference with the telephone directory data stored in the telephone directory data storage means, a voice recognition data generating means that generates the voice recognition data from the telephone directory data stored in the telephone directory data storage means, and a voice recognition data white means that writes the voice recognition data generated by the voice recognition data generating means to the voice recognition data storage means in cross-reference with the telephone directory data.
