PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put the telephone number of the user of a portable telephone or wired subscriber's line on a magazine, etc., while protecting the privacy of the user. SOLUTION: A secondary telephone number utilizing server is provided with such a means that registers temporary secondary telephone numbers which are made to correspond to primary telephone numbers and, upon receiving a connection request to one of the registered secondary telephone numbers, makes a telephone call to the primary telephone number corresponding to the secondary telephone number. Since the server is provided with the means, the user of a portable telephone or wired subscriber's line can open its address to be used for making contact with the user by preventing its primary telephone number from being known to 'others'. Therefore, the user can exchange information with 'others' by avoiding the fear of its privacy from being disturbed.
