METHOD FOR PRODUCING NONLINEAR SINGLE CRYSTAL ELEMENT

PURPOSE: A nonlinear single crystal element is provided to increase the conversion efficiency of a Nd:YLF laser and accordingly generate a second harmonic wave that is stable. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: growing a nonlinear single crystal; cutting the grown nonlinear single crystal along a Z surface using a slicing deice; cutting the surface of the nonlinear single crystal cut into a sliced state; and rotating the nonlinear single crystal in a Y-axis direction at 1.3 deg. and then cutting the surface perpendicular to this direction.
